As of 2 December, it is allowed to visit patients again

As of Friday, 2 December, the ban on visiting patients ended and the hospitalised patients of the North Estonia Medical Centre can be visited again as usual. 

However, we ask the visitors to be careful and use necessary protective measures when visiting the patients. ‘Visitors who feel ill or who have symptoms of illness are not allowed to visit patients. When entering the department, it is mandatory to wash your hands and wear a protective mask, which can be obtained when entering the hospital or from the department,’ emphasised Dr Mait Altmets, head of the Medical Centre’s Infection Control & Prevention Department.
